Little Brisbane: bin night Collection dates and property address locations: Brisbane City Council. https://data.brisbane.qld.gov.au/explore/dataset/bin-collection-calendar/ https://data.brisbane.qld.gov.au/explore/dataset/property-address-locations/ Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ This independent miniature uses published next_red_bin, next_yellow_bin and next_green_bin dates, joined by Council property_id. It does not use the bulky-item collection dates. Dates refresh automatically twice daily while the site is visited. An unavailable feed is retried; unverified data expires after 72 hours. No ongoing weekly service is invented after expiry. Bins appear at Brisbane sunset the evening before collection, and disappear at 6 pm on the collection day. This is a scheduled visualisation, not live confirmation that a household put bins out or that a truck has collected them. The 6 pm removal time is an artistic convention, not Council's pickup time. The first release covers 1,468 uniquely matched standalone-house frontages with mapped footpaths, clear bin space and verified ground support. Flats, shared addresses, missing footpaths and ambiguous placements are omitted. Green-bin availability follows Council's published dates; individual household opt-outs and actual bin ownership are not provided by this dataset. Addresses were converted from Council GDA94 / MGA zone 56 coordinates. Placement uses OpenStreetMap streets and the existing miniature geometry. Model details are simplified from Council's red, yellow and green 240 L bin photographs. No Council logo or official affiliation is claimed. Bridge lighting schedules ------------------------- Scheduled light-up dates, asset names, colours and occasions: Brisbane City Council, Events - Light up Brisbane, licensed CC BY 4.0. https://data.brisbane.qld.gov.au/explore/dataset/light-up-brisbane-events/ https://www.trumba.com/calendars/light-up-brisbane.json https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/events-arts-and-culture/creative-programs-and-awards/creative-lighting/asset-light-up-calendar Story Bridge and Victoria Bridge reflect published colour bookings. Their structures use a small artistic light wash, not recorded lighting sequences or a live report of physical lights. All-day dates label the evening and are shown from Brisbane sunset into the following morning. Timed entries keep published start/end times. Daytime bridge materials remain unchanged. The calendar is checked server-side every six hours while the site is used, with an automatic check on reopening when due. All visitors share one durable snapshot. The Council daily extract is a backup if the original feed fails. Failures retry after five minutes. Previously verified bookings remain usable for up to 72 hours; then illumination stops until fresh data returns. Unrecognised or conflicting colour descriptions are not guessed. Blue and gold is Council's documented default, used only for unbooked nights inside a recently verified calendar window. Data refreshes require no editing or republishing. Kangaroo Point's schedule is ingested, but its incomplete current bridge model is not illuminated. State-managed bridges are not assigned Council bookings.
